ze enklitik edatı Yeni Uygur Türkçesi imlâsında bitişik yazıldığı için bir ek görüntüsü verir ancak ünlü uyumuna da uymaz. Bu özelliğiyle, ayrı bir leksik birim, bir enklitik edatı biçiminde olan bu yapı bazı Uygur ağızlarında ise kalınlık-incelik uyumuna uyan bir ek-edat durumundadır. ze enklitik edatı, i- ek-fiili + şart kipi eki kuruluşundan gelişmiştir. Yeni Uygur Türkçesi edebî dilinde, ayrı bir leksik birim olarak yer alan ze enklitik edatının Yeni Uygur Türkçesine özgü olduğu ve diğer Türk lehçelerinde bulunmadığı görüşü bazı araştırmacılar tarafından dile getirilir ancak bu enklitik yapısına şekil ve anlam bakımından yakın veya eşdeğer enklitiklere bazı Türk lehçelerinde kalıplaşmış birer morfolojik yapı veya leksik birim şeklinde, şu veya bu düzeyde, değişik fonetik varyantlarıyla birlikte rastlanır. ze enklitik edatı hemen hemen her kelime türü ile bütün cümle ögeleri ve cümle dışı unsurlara kelime ve kelime grubunun bir unsuru düzeyinde ulanabilir. Ulandığı cümle ögesini vurgulayarak konuşana mantıkî bir ara verme veya esas bir tavır alma imkânı sağlar. Edat, tavır almada dikkat çekilen duruma karşı konuşanın duygusunu ve öznel değerlendirmesini bildirmesini, kınama, vurgulama, sitem etme, olumsuz görüş bildirme veya tavır alma, küçümseme gibi değişik anlam nüansları katarak sağlayan bir leksik araç olarak görev yapar. Çalışmada, Yeni Uygur Türkçesindeki ze enklitik edatının şekil, anlam ve kullanım özelliklerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.

In modern Uigur Turkish orthography, the postposition enclitic ze gives an impression of a suffix since it is written as an adjunct to the word, yet it is inconsistent with the wovel harmony. In this respect this structure, which is in the form of an enclitic postposition, a separate lexical unit, acts as a suplementary-postposition in some Uigur dialects enabling consistency with the palatal harmony of the sound. The postposition enclitic ze has evolved from the construction of the form of i-substantive verb+conditional mood. The idea that the postposition enclitic ze, which occurs as a separate lexical unit in the new Uigur Turkish literary language, is specific to the new Uigur Turkish, and it not exist in the other Turkish dialects, is suggested by some researchers. However, some enclitics similar or equivalent to this enclitic structure in terms of a form or a meaning are somehow met in some Turkish dialects as a formalized morphological structure or lexical unit together with different phonetic variances. The postposition enclitic ze, with almost every kind of word, can be linked to all sentence and nonsentence elements as a part of a word or word phrase. By emphasizing the element of the sentence, it enables the speaker to have a logical break or develope a particular attitude. In this sense the enclitic ze, by adding various nuances to the sentence it is suffixed, acts as a lexical mean and provides a ground to the speaker to take a stand against the situation, enabling him to express a feeling, a subjective assesment such as a disapproval, an emphasize, a complaint, a negative opinion, a disdain or a humiliation. In this study, it is aimed at to examine the morphological, semantical and usage characteritics of the postposition enclitic ze in modern Uigur Turkish.
