An Archetypal Approach To Homesick Songs


Archetypes, which are a dark and unknown part of the human soul, and according Jung's description, which lie in the common subconscious, and which are spiritual forms of behaviors that call out to us from deep, are deeply felt in folk songs as well as in the basis of most literary works. Homesick songs; can be regarded as the manifestation of the subconscious as they reflect the mental state of those who have been away from their beloved ones, the places they used to live and their behaviors, and of the things they have left behind.
