A Bibliographic Study About Refik Halit Karay

Refik Halit Karay is one of the leading authors of Turkish history and literature. He is an important figure of 20th century Turkish history and literature. As being a productive author Refik Halit Karay is an important information source that researchers must be applied to reach new comments. Our study is generated for researcher’s easily reaching to basic sources about this leading figure. A great part of this study consists of official publications, archives sources, newspapers, periodicals, books, articles, symposiums papers, undergraduate dissertations, postgraduate thesis, PhD dissertations and author’s articles that were published different newspapers and periodicals. The most uptodated information is used in this study. As known his dissident character and is being understood value of Refik Halit Karay was exiled two times in his life. Causes of his exile were political activities during the period of armistice and his writings on political satire. In this respect, to understand of the events in the first quarter of the 20th century, Refik Halit Karay must be researched. One of the most important parts of our study is the section where author’s articles are gathered. We think that this section attract more attention of researchers because of the containing new information. This study is a comprehensive bibliographic research prepared on Refik Halit Karay.
