Bu makalede zarf ve bağlaç işlevleriyle ele alınan “bile” sözcüğünün kullanım değerleri incelenmiştir. 22-29 Temmuz 2012 tarihleri arasında Cumhuriyet Haber Portalı’nda yer alan 84 sözceden oluşturulan bütüncede bulunan 87 “bile” kullanımı, sözce içinde üstlendiği değerler açısından sınıflandırılmış, ayrıca “önvarsayım” ve “imalı anlam” açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Önvarsayım, bir sözce üretilirken gerçek olduğu varsayılan bilgidir ve verili bilgiden hareketle bulunabilir. İmalı anlamlar ise, bağlama ve iletişim durumuna bağlı olarak değişebilen örtük anlamlardır. Yapılan inceleme sonucunda, biri “bile-zarf” (“zaman” değeri), diğerleri “bile-bağlaç”la ilintili olmak üzere 7 kullanım değerine ulaşılmıştır: 1. zaman; 2. ihtimal / varsayım; 3. olması beklenirken olmayan; 4. düşünülebilecek en son (en şaşırtıcı) durum, olgu, kişi; 5. düşünülebilen en alt sınır; 6. düşünülebilecek en olumsuz durum, olgu, kişi; 7. karşılaştırmada artan kapsam, önem (üstelik). Her kullanım değeri en az bir, en çok altı sözdizimi şeklinde gerçekleşmektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırılmış ve bulgular sayısal olarak gösterilmiştir. Tüm kullanımlarda önvarsayım söz konusu olmasına karşın, sadece 2 kullanım değerinde (3. ve 4. değerler) imalı anlamın sıkılıkla yer aldığı saptanmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra, kimi kalıplaşmış kullanımlarda genel geçer ve kültürel bir önvarsayıma, kimi kullanımlarda ise öznel değer yargılarına ve örtük anlamlara rastlanmıştır. Son olarak, bazı sorunlu kullanımlar ele alınmış ve çözümlenmiştir.

In this article, it is studied and discussed different values of the word “even” in Turkish with the adverb and conjunction functions. 87 usages of “even” in the corpus obtained from Cumhuriyet news portal between 22 to 29 July 2012 inclusive are classified in terms of the values assumed in the utterance, and also are evaluated in terms of "presupposition" and "implied meaning" (implicit). Presupposition, producing an utterance, is supposed as a true knowledge, and it can be found in the information given. As a result of the examination, it is reached in all to 7 use values: one to be associated with the "even-adverb" ("time" value), others whit the “even-conjunction”: 1. time; 2. probability / hypothesis; 3. expected to be, but not realized; 4. considered as the last (most surprisingly) situation, case or person; 5. the lower limit to be thought; 6. the most unfavorable situation, case or person to be thought; 7. in the comparison, the increased content or importance. Each use-value of “even” takes one syntax up to six. The results obtained are compared and shown numerically. Although the presupposition in all uses, suggestive significance used frequently was determined in only 2 use-values (third and fourth values). In addition, in some stereotypes were found a cultural presupposition generally accepted, and in the outers, subjective value judgments and implicit meanings. Finally, some problematic uses has been examined and analyzed.
