The existence of Alevism maintains new adopting and synthesis approaches since the beginning of Turkish Islamization process. Since Alevism is a syncretic religious group, it is influenced by the territory (living area) in the historical process, culture, tradition and the beliefs of the cultural luggage. Alevism is affected by the Jaafarism which is one of the religious groups in the Islamic history. Anotolian Alevis have specific belief structures in their own roots. This embodiment includes the differentiating features with Shiism and also Sunnism. These qualities evolved as a result of the historical and social conditions over an extensive period of time. When we look at the details of this process, there are several different points of view regarding the relationship between Alevism and Jaafarism. In our study, we have discovered six different perspectives from sources of sociological studies, historical documents and ideas from certain Alevi writers regarding the relationships between Alevism and Jaafarism. We will discuss the topic in our paper from these points; a) traditional Sufi (mystical) Alevism, b) urban/secularist Alevism, c) Hanafi Bektashism/Alevism, d) syncretic Alevism, e) Jaafari Alevism and f) objector Alevism. We determined that traditional Sufi (mystical) Alevi path, Hanafi Alevi line, syncretic Alevism and objector Alevism will take on a serious role in the discussions of the nature of Alevism in the future from these perspectives on the relationship between Alevism and Jaafarism. Although other considerations will continue to arise within Alevism, they will remain marginal.
