Divânü Lûgâti’t –Türk (DLT), Türklerin sosyo-kültürel yaşamı hakkında derin izler taşıyan bir eserdir. Bu eserde Türklerin komşuluk ilişkilerinden, çocuk eğitimine; insani değerlerden yeme içme kültürüne kadar hayatın birçok kesitini bulmak mümkündür. Bu çalışma betimsel olup tarama modelinde yapılmıştır. Eserde sosyal yaşamın en önemli unsurlardan biri olan değer kavramının veriliş biçimini tespit etmek amacıyla tarama yapılmıştır. Tarama sırasında özellikle sosyal yaşamla ilgili değerleri içeren kelime ve atasözlerine ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Tespit edilen kelime ve atasözleri tasnif edilerek içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Elde edilen verilere göre Türklerin komşuluktan misafirliğe, evlilikten batıl inançlara kadar birçok orijinal değeri oluşturduğu bunu da dil öğretimi sırasında sözel kültür ürünlerinde de görmenin mümkün olduğu anlaşılmaktadır.
Divânü Lûgâti’t -Türk(DLT) is deeply impact bearing in terms of socio-cultural life of Turks. In this piece, it is a possible to find many sections of life from neighborhood relationships to child education; from human values to eating-drinking culture. This piece is descriptive and made by scanning method. The piece (DLT) was scanned especially to determine how the concept of value which is one of the most important elements of social life is used in it. Words and proverbs especially about the social life was tried to be reached during the scanning. The detected words and proverbs were classified and then analyzed in terms of their contents According to the obtained data, we see that Turkish formed a lot of original values from neighborhood to hospitality; from marriage to superstitions and this fact is also visible in verbal cultural productions during the language education.
