Fetvâ, şeyhülislâm veya müftülerin, kendilerine sorulan müşkil konulara verdikleri güçlü cevaplardır. Osmanlıda beş asırlık bir sürede 129 şeyhülislâm görev yapmış ve fetvâları zor meselelerde en çok başvurulan kaynaklar olmuştur. Bu fetvâlar içinde manzum biçimde verilenler de yer almış ve daima dikkat çekici bulumuştur. Bu fetvâlar, kalem ve kelamları güçlü şeyhülislâm şairlerce yazıldıklarından şekil ve mutevaca diğer fetvâlardan edebî yönden ayrılmış ve sanat yönleri de bulunmuştur. Manzum fetvâlarda vezin ve kafiyece gözetilen bir itina ve özenle seçilmiş kelimelerin yanında edebi sanatlar da başarılı biçimde kullanılmıştır. Bu makalede, bu fetvâların edebî değerleri incelenmektedir.
Fatwa is the strange response from muftis and sheikulislam to complicated issues which are asked to them. İn ottoman,129 sheikhulislam served during five centuries and their fatwas have been the most referenced sources in complicated issues.Among these fetwas are the fetwas which were given poetic too and they have been found remarkable. Now that these fetwas were written from sheikhulislam poets who are good at kalam and writing,they are different from the other fatwas as shape and content and they are found artful too. İn poetic fatwas, literary arts are added to sentences too which are chosen carefully and elaborately on account of rhyme and prosody. In this article, literary feauture and value of these Fatwas will be examined.
