Space in Fuzûlî’s Rind ü Zâhid: Pub and Temple

Space is one of the main elements in fictive works. Space assigns a concrete place to fictional work by giving it a realistic dimension. In addition, it has a function of drawing characters. In descriptive works, one of the methods of examining the function of space is to assess space in peripheral and sensorial aspects. Assessment of space in its sensory aspect analyzes the problem of person-space identicalness. Besides, it contributes to understanding and assigning meaning to the text and solving inter-related interactions. In this article, two concepts, pub (meyhane) and temple (mescit) wil be analyzed in a sensory aspect in the work Rind ü Zâhid by Fuzûlî, the famous literary figure in our literature.
