Seyyid İbrahim Hanîf, 18. yüzyılda yaşamış, Üsküdarlı âlim bir şairdir. Şairin Siyer-i Nebî adlı eseri, siyer türünün son örneklerinden biridir. Eserin ilk cildi Siyer-i Mekkî’de,“Menkabet-i E’imme-i Müctehidîn” adlı bir bölüm vardır. Bölüm, 12 beyitten oluşur ve “İctihad İmâmlarının Menkabeleri” başlığını taşır. Altı Mezhep İmâmı ile ilgili olan bu bölümde şair, önce İmâmların isimlerini zikreder. Daha sonra çok genel özelliklerinden bahseder ve özellikle Ebû Hanife’ye vurgu yapar. Çalışmadaki amacımız, henüz üzerinde herhangi bir çalışma yapılmamış olan siyer türünde bir eserin bir bölümünü tanıtmak ve muhtevasını inceleyerek bu alanda yapılan çalışmalara katkı sağlamaktır.
Seyyid İbrahim Hanîf, from Uskudar, is a wise poet of 18th century. His work Siyer-i Nebî is one of the latest example of works writen in that genre. There is a section called “Menkabet-i E’imme-i Müctehidîn” in Siyer-i Mekkî, the 1st valume of Siyer-i Nebî. With the title of “Sagas of Opinon Imams”, the section consists of 12 couplet. This section is about Imams of Six Sect and firstly the poet mentions about their names. Then he tells general features of them and especially emphasizes of Ebû Hanife. The aim of this paper is to introduce a section of a kind of Siyer which has not been studied yet and to provide an advantage for studies on Siyer.
