Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türk dili ve edebiyatı öğretimi ile ilgili yapılan akademik çalışmaların genel eğilimlerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma kapsamında çalışmaların konu alanları, yöntemleri, evren ve örneklemleri ile araştırmalarda ulaşılan sonuçlar ve öneriler analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma, betimsel bir araştırma yaklaşımı olan tarama modelinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, son on bir yılda (2000-2010) elektronik ortamda ulaşılabilen Türkiye adresli 20 hakemli dergideki makaleler oluşturmaktadır. Bunlar arasından konu ile ilgili olan 34 makale araştırma kapsamında analize tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda incelenen makalelerin % 23.5’inin doğrudan Türk dili ve edebiyatı öğretimi ve eğitimiyle ilgili olduğu belirlenmiştir. Makalelerin % 88.2’sinde çalışma için kullanılan yöntemin belirtilmediği tespit edilmiştir. % 72.2’sinde herhangi bir örneklem seçimine gidilmediği görülmüştür. İlgili çalışmalarda en çok tercih edilen evren örneklem grubunun Türk dili ve edebiyatı öğretmeni adayları olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak Türk dili ve edebiyatı öğretimine ilişkin yeterli sayıda çalışmanın olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu nedenle araştırmacıların bu alanla ilgili sorunları ele alacak, eksikleri giderebilecek çalışmalar yapmaları önerilmektedir.
The aim of this study is to reveal the general tendency of academic studies about Turkish Language and Literature teaching. In this study, the subject areas of the studies, their methods, universe and samples, and the obtained results and suggestions were analyzed. The study was done with screening model which is a descriptive research approach. The sample of the study consists of articles in 20 refereed journal of Turkey published in last 11 years (200-2010) and can be reached on internet. 34 of these articles related to the subject were analyzed in our study. In the result of the study, it was concluded that 23.5% of the analyzed articles were directly about Turkish Language and Literature teaching and education. it was found in 88.2% of the articles that the method was not indicated. No sample was chosen in 72.2% of them. In the related studies the most preferred universe sample group was pre-service Turkish Language and Literature teachers. As a result of the study, it was found that the number of the studies about Turkish Language and Literature was not sufficient therefore, it was suggested to the researchers that they should do more studies to cope with the problems related to this area and fill the deficiency.
