With the establishment of Ottoman Empire, Turkish has come under the influence of the Arabic and Persian languages and has imported a considerable volume of vocabulary from them. At the same time, the Turkish language has over the years affected Arabic and Persian through export of a sizable number of words, and affixes to them. This modest research effort touches upon four common suffixes that have entered the Arabic language.
