Fiilin anlamını çeşitli yönlerden tamamlayan ögelere fiil tamlayıcısı denir. Fiil ile tamlayıcı veya tamlayıcılar arasındaki münasebeti kuran hâl ekleridir. Fiil-tamlayıcı ilişkisinin şeklini ve niteliğini fiilin anlamı belirlediği gibi, o dili konuşanlar da belirler. Dönemler ve sahalar arasında hâl ekli tamlayıcıların kullanımında bazen farklılıklar görülmektedir. Bu farklılıklar tamlayıcıdaki ekin farklı işlevde kullanılması şeklinde yorumlanabileceği gibi, fiilin istem değiştirmesi olarak da açıklanabilir. Bu çalışmada Eski Anadolu Türkçesindeki bazı fiillerin hâl ekli tamlayıcıları üzerinde durulmuştur.
The elements complementing the meaning of the verb from various aspects are named as complement. It is case-endings which makes connection between the verb and complement(s). The nature and form of verb-complement connection is determined by the meaning of the verb as well as by the speakers of the language. The usage of the case-ending complements differs between periods and fields. The differences can be interpreted as the usage of the ending in the complement in a different function. The differences can also be explained as the subjunctive substitution of the verb. In this work, the case-ending complements of some verbs in the Old Anatolian Turkish were studied.
