An Assessment of Effectiveness of Writing Learning Domain in Elementary School Turkish Language Education Curruculum


The aim of this study is to determine teachers’ perceptions of effectiveness of writing learning domain in elementary school Turkish Language Curriculum in practice. The participants of the study consisted of 15 Turkish Language teachers working in Malatya city. Data were collected by using a semi-structured interview form consisting of eight questions. NVivo 8 program was used to analyze the data and teachers’ answers were analyzed by using content analysis. The findings of the study were presented as frequencies and percentages. Analysis of interview data revealed that teachers found Turkish Language Curriculum effective in writing learning domain.
