İmdat Avşar, 2010 yılında yayımladığı Çiğdemleri Solan Bozkır isimli ilk hikâye kitabındaki hikâyeleri ile aynasını toplumumuza ve geleneksel değerlerimize tutar. Bir bakıma, bize bizi seyrettirir; biz, bizi seyre dalmışken de damarlarımıza merhamet duygusunu aşılar. Aynı zamanda yazar, hikâyeleriyle değişmeyen ve değiştirilemeyecek olan özü, Anadolu Türk insanının değiştirilemez karakter yapısını gözler önüne serer. Bu çalışmada İmdat Avşar’ın hikâyeleri ve hikâyeciliği üzerinde durulmaya çalışılmıştır.
With his stories in his first book which is Steppe Which Fade To Crocuses he published in 2010, Imdat Avşar reflects our society and our traditional values. In a way, he gets us to monitor ourselves, and while we are monitoring ourselves, he infuses our heart with mercy. Furthermore, with his stories, the writer depicts the unalterable character of the Anotolian Turkish men, the core which has never changed or can be changed. In this study, what has been put emphasis on is the stories of Imdat Avşar and his story telling.
