In a narration, dealing with time affects the person that is one of the other structural elements of a story, space, plot (storyline), narrative level and narrator selection, either directly or indirectly. In this article, Chatman's concepts of order, duration, frequence that he explained depending on Gennette are based on time's identification, classification and structure; and both forming of the time and its influence on the space and narrative level has been tried to be interpreted by their functions on Ethem BARAN's "Fukaranın Kestanesi Palamuttan"
