For this reason, many studies have been conducted regarding Sait Faik and his works. The main characteristic of the writer is laziness (idleness / vagrancy) and his sympathy on hardworking people. However, we don’t see enough studies regarding these features of the writer. In our study, we are focusing on writer’s mentioned features by using some examples from recent story books of his such as “Havuz Başı” (Pool Shore) and “Son Kuşlar” (Last Birds).
