Any form of death which is not possible fact to be escaped for humankind has constantly occupied people's minds. Death is the real that lover could eventually experience with his lover in Ottoman Poetry. Also death that could be sacrificed to the lover and a reason of liberation from suffering of love itself is the most precious asset for the lover. Lovers have some demands for either getting rid of pain or being sacrificed for the sake of love from people around them. In this study, requests of lovers in relation to death will be explained by examples in the poems of variety poets.
