Bu araştırmanın amacı, aday (stajyer) öğretmenlerin kendilerini okul yöneticiliğinin gerektirdiği yeterliklere sahip olma yönündeki algılarını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma tarama modelinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2008-2009 öğretim yılında Şanlıurfa ve Tokat illerindeki ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan aday öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemini ise bu iki ilin merkez ilçeleri ve merkez ilçelere bağlı köy ve kasabalarda görev yapan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, “İlköğretim Okulu Yöneticileri Teftiş Formu”nda yer alan boyutlardan ve bu boyutlarda yer alan sorulardan oluşan Yönetici Yeterlik Algısı Anketi (YYAA) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, t testi, Mann Whitney U ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Aday öğretmenler genel olarak kendilerini “büyük ölçüde” yönetsel yeterliklere sahip görmektedirler.
The aim of this study is conduct reveal the perceptions of candidate teachers towards their having the necessary qualifications about school management. In the research survey model was used. Candidate teachers, who were working in primary schools of Şanlıurfa and Tokat cities in 2008-2009 education year, constitute the research population. Teachers working in central counties and ancillary villages and towns of these two cities constitute the research sample. Manager Qualification Perception Questionnaire (MQPQ), which was prepared by the researchers, was used for the purposes of data gathering. In the analysis of the data, arithmetic average, standard deviation, Independent-Samples t test, and One Way ANOVA tests were utilized. Candidate teachers are generally perceive themselves as having managerial qualifications “to a large extent”.
