Nihânî is a classical Otoman poet who wrote poems in the second half of the16th century. His real name is Ibrahim Celebi. Resources do not have any information about his date of birth. He was born in Edirne. The year, 1592 is known as his date of death. No work of the poet could be found. He draws attention with his written ghazals. In this study, a general assessment has been made by examining Nihânî’s life, his literary personality, his artistic quality and poetry and ghazals that could be determined are presented.
