Güncel Türkçe Sözlük’te (GTS) madde başı ve madde içi olarak sözcük türlerinin dağılımına baktığımızda sırasıyla; isimleri, sıfatları, fiilleri, zarfları, ünlemleri, zamirleri, bağlaçları ve edatları görmekteyiz. Zarflar, sözcük türleri arasında var olan bu dağılımda dördüncü sırada yer almaktadır. Öte yandan, dizgesel ilişkiler bakımından zarfların dilde diğer sözcük türleri ile yoğun bir bağdaşıklığı söz konusudur. Zarfların, işlevleri gereği, dizgelerde ağırlıklı olarak fiillerle/fiilimsilerle, sıfatlarla ve kendi türünden sözcüklerle birlikte kullanıldıkları görülür. Zarfların dizgelerde işlevsel ve anlamsal görünümlerinin ortaya çıkmasında birlikte kullanıldıkları fiiller/fiilimsiler, sıfatlar ve kendi türünden sözcüklerin anlam özellikleri belirleyici rol oynamaktadır.
When we see in Güncel Türkçe Sözlük’s headwords distribution, it is found these words: nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, exclamations, pronouns, conjunctions and prepositions, respectively. Adverbs are fourth in this part of speech distribution. Besides, adverbs have massive relation with others as systemics in terms of cohesion system. Adverbs, as their functions, are used with mainly participles or other parts of speech related with it. Their functional and semantic features are dependent on adverbial structures, adjectives and other lexemes that are used in same co-occurrence. In this respect, a corpus is very important for checking of the adverbs in Turkish literature texts. This corpus must be dependent on representativeness Turkish textual material. This study covers the results of investigation consisting of adverbs in GTS restricted with ‘A item’ dependent upon a representativeness textual corpus with 12 million (+/-) words. Thus, the results may give a scope for a generalization of Turkish textual adverbial features.
