Bu yazıda Cemil Meriç’in cümle üslubu üzerinde durulmaktadır. Yazarın cümle üslubunu en iyi yansıtan eserlerinden biri olması sebebiyle inceleme, Bu Ülke adlı eserden hareketle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Buna göre Bu Ülke’de isim cümleleri, kısa ve devrik cümleler ile soru ve açıklama cümleleri bir üslup özelliği olarak dikkat çekmektedir. Çalışmada söz konusu cümlelerin kullanım özellikleri üzerinde ayrıntılarıyla durularak Meriç’in metaforik bir dil kullandığı, metaforun dağınık gibi görünen bu kullanımları birleştiren bir unsur olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
This study deals with syntactic stylistic features of Cemil Meriç’s writings on the basis of Bu Ülke which can be considered one of the distinctive Works of the author. Results obtained from the study show that Meriç used nominal, inverse, short, interrogative, and explanatory sentences as a stylistic element in Bu Ülke. Using these elements he created a metaphoric language, and in return metaphor helped to organize and integrate these elements which seemed independent at the first glance.
