Hurufis which are based their philosophy on the letters, interpreted the twelve imam which begin with Ali and end with Mahdi by using the letters. Conception of twelve imam comes into prominence especially in shia, alawi and bektashi sects. In this paper, the aspects of hurufis impressed by sunnism and shiism will be analyzed firstly, then hurufi interpretation about twelve imam will be explained. In hurufi literature, among twelve imams, especially Ali and Mahdi are interpreted. Similarly to the many other subjects, the interpretations of twelve imams, Ali and Mahdi are based on the letters. Another attractive point is that at these interpretations, hurufi philosophy and Fadlallah (constructor of hurufism) come into prominence. In other words, by way of twelve imams, especially Ali and Mahdi, hurufis explained their philosophy and transfigured Fadlallah.
