The Poetry of İkinci Yeni and Behçet Necatigil in the Frame of Atonal Music

Ece Ayhan and Hüsyin Cöntürk use the atonal music concept so as to give a meaning to strange technique of İkinci Yeni. Moreover, Hilmi Yavuz argues that Behçet Necatigil’s work of Kareler (Rectangulars) has a atonal character. Existence of mentioned classifications shows that there is a need for discussion on the Turkish poetry in terms of poems having atonal music character. In this article, it is aimed to discuss poems or poets in the Turkish poetry, chiefly İkinci Yeni and Behçet Necatigil, in the frame of atonal music.
