An Evaluatıon On The Relatıon Of Velarısatıon In Turkısh Wıth The Prımary Long Vowels


The primary long vowels mostly became shorter or left a variety of phonemic marks in Turkish languages and dialects while they were becoming shorter. In this study it will be emphasized that the primary long vowels are one of the basic of velarisation in Turkish.
