The Appearance Of Boğaç Han Story On The Narrative Plane

Dede Korkut Stories, one of the richest heritages of our cultural history, deal with the symbolical voyage of the Turkısh Nation in general, and the people in the universal sense (tion) of the World. Dede Korkut Stories, one of the most important well-known places of the Turkish Culture, present the sacred destiny of the existence through the language of the archetypal symbols. In this study; we put forward the place of the Boğaç Han Story- entwisted with high conscious and a rich image- on the narrative plane with respect to its structure, thematic construction, the type of its language and narration. Boğaç Han Story is the first of the Dede Korkut Stories, and is a symbolically narrated micro-universe on transferring the values accepted sacred by Oğuz and on being comprehended to the next generations.
