Bu makalenin ilk bölümünde Çağdaş Kazak Edebiyatının kurucusu olarak tanınan Ibıray Altınsarin’in hayat hikâyesi ikinci bölümünde ise, eserleri incelenmiştir. Ayrıca yazarın yaşadığı dönemi içine alan, 19. yy’ın ikinci yarısında Rusların yapmış olduğu eğitim faaliyetlerine de değinilmiştir. Yazarın vermiş olduğu eserler yazılı Kazak Edebiyatının Kiril alfabesi ile yazılmış ilk örneklerini teşkil etmektedir. Bunun yanında Arap alfabesi ile yazılmış Kazakça eseri ve Rusça yazılmış eserleri hakkında açıklamalı bilgiler verilmiştir.
In the first section of this article, the life story of Ibiray Altınsarin, who is known to have begun the first studies on the contemporary literature of Kazaks, and in the second section, his works have been examined. Besides, the educational activities of Russians in the second half of the 19 th century, including the period of writer’s lifetime, are explained. The works, rendered by the writer, constitute the first examples of Kazakh Literature written in cyrillic. Moreover, not only his work written in Arabic but also his works in Russian have been described in detail.
