In this article we discuss the historical adventure of the Uighurs, who has significant place in Turkish history and is one of the foremost Turkish tribes in Turkish language and culture with the alphabet they used, the works of writing and translation they produced, and also their relationship with the Chinese, as far as with the other Turkish tribes, and furthermore their place in Turkishness under the consideration of data achieved from Dîvânü Lügati’t-Türk.
