Türk mesnevi geleneğinde aşk ve macera konulu mesneviler grubuna dâhil edilen mesnevilerde hikâyenin, genellikle Fars zaman zaman da Arap edebiyatının mesnevi konuları model alınarak yeniden yazıldığı bilinmektedir. Aynı konulu bir hikâyenin mesnevi formunda yeniden yazımı, çok kere mesneviler için “Acem taklidi” ve mesnevi şairleri için “taklitçi/mukallit” suçlamalarını beraberinde getirmiştir. Ancak bu eleştirilerde edebî çevirinin klâsik edebiyat geleneklerinde adeta bir tarz ve yeniden yaratma etkinliği olduğu göz ardı edilmiştir. Bu makalede, klâsik edebiyatlarda ve edebiyatların klâsik dönemlerinde görülen aynı konunun yeniden yazımı geleneğinin Klâsik Türk edebiyatı bağlamında yorumlanması; edebî tercüme/yeniden yazım algılanışının sorgulanması amaçlanmaktadır.
It is known that stories in mesnevis included in the group of mesnevis with themes of love and adventure in Turkish mesnevi tradition are rewritten by taking mesnevi themes of Persian (generally) and Arabic (sometimes) literature as model. Rewriting a story with the same theme in the form of mesnevi brought about the accusations of “Persian imitation” for mesnevis and “imitator” for mesnevi poets. However, it was ignored in these criticisms that literary translation has a style and recreation influence on classical literature traditions. This article aims at interpreting the tradition of rewriting the same theme seen in classical literatures and in classical periods of literatures within the context of Classical Turkish literature and at examining literary translation/rewriting perception.
