Hat, tezhip ve cilt, klasik Türk – İslam sanatlarındandır. Globalleşen dünyada pek çok eski sanat hayatını devam ettiremezken bu sanatlara ilgi az da olsa devam etmektedir. Diğer taraftan Türk ve Batılı araştırmacıların hat, tezhip ve cilt sanatlarına ilgisi gittikçe artmaktadır. Bu durumda bu sanat dallarında kullanılan terimleri bilmek de bir zorunluluk olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada hat, tezhip ve cilt terimleri için hazırlanmış sözlükler ve sözlük olmadığı halde bir kısmı sözlük özelliğine sahip eserler tanıtılıp değerlendirilmiştir.
The Calligraphy, the illumination and the binding are among classical Turkish-Islamic arts. Whereas a great number of arts belonging to old times are not able to survive in the global world, the interest in these arts has been continuing even a little. On the other hand, the interest of Turkish and Western researchers in the arts of calligraphy, the illumination and the binding increases more and more. In that case, it is also necessary to know terms used in these branches of art. In this study, glossaries prepared for terms of the calligraphy, the illumination and the binding and works, a part of which has characteristics of glossary though they are not a glossary, are introduced and evaluated.
