Manzum lügatler Türk dilinin geniş açıyla incelenebilmesi bakımından önemli, yabancı dil öğretimi bakımından da dikkat çekicidir. Ferişteoğlu lügatine nazire olarak yazılmış Türkçe-Arapça manzum lügat Mahmûdiyye bu yönleriyle değerlidir. Biz bu çalışmamızda klâsik edebiyatımızdaki manzum lugat geleneğinden bahsedeceğiz ve Mahmûdiyye’yi Ferişteoğlu Lügati ile kıyaslayarak tanıtacağız.
Verse dictionaries are important with respect to Turkish language can be assessed with broad perspective. Moreover this dictionaries are remarkable for foreign language teaching. In this respect having been written by being parallel with Ferişteoğlu Dictionary Mahmûdiyye which is Arabic-Turkish verse dictionary is especial. In this study we will acquaint Mahmûdiyye and compare it with Ferişteoğlu Dictionary. Thereto, we will mention of verse dictionary tradition in our classical litareture.
