Karayuluk Osman Bey Based On The Kitab-ı Diyarbekkiryye
One of important clans of Oghuzs is also Bayındırs. The family which founded Akkoyunlu State belongs to this clan. Akkoyunlu State gained importance in the reign of Karayülük Osman Bey in the eastern and southern east regions. During Timur’s raids to Anatolia, being allied with him, Karayülük Osman Bey had an important role on Anatolia's fate. He fought with Karakoyunlu clan that had its roots with Oghuzs as well as Akkoyunlu clan.
