Tatar Aydınlanma (Milli Yenileşme) hareketinin öncülerinden olan Ayaz İshaki’nin eserlerinde eğitim en önemli konu başlıkları arasında yer alır. Eserleriyle Tatar toplumunu etkileyen Ayaz İshaki, “ceditçilik” adı verilen yenileşme hareketinin temsilciliğini yapmış, “maarifetçilik” adı verilen eğitim hareketinin de öncüsü olmuştur. İshaki, eserlerinde çağdaş ve modern bir eğitim anlayışını önermiş ve bu eğitimin nasıl olması gerektiğini anlatmıştır. Geleneksel medrese eğitimini eserlerinde hicveden Ayaz İshaki, Batılı tarzda, bilim merkezli bir eğitim modeli üzerinde durmuştur.
Being one of the predecessors of Tatar illumination movement, Ayaz Ishaki concentrated on education widely in his works. Through his works, he influenced Tatar people. He represented the innovation movement which is called as “ceditçilik” and he initiated the education movement which is called as “maarifetçilik”. In his works, Ishaki recommended an understanding of a contemporary and modern education and he explained how to achieve this education. Satirizing the traditional madrasah education in his works, Ayaz Ishaki focused on a European style and a scientific centred education model.
