After 1828–1829 Ottoman- Russia War, the Christian Urum Turks with Armenians living around Erzurum and Kars region were placed in various cities of Georgia. In 1990s in Tsalka region there were 37 000 Urums but as a result of immigration today Urum population is about 1500 in this region. Urum’s spoken language was Turkish and their written language was Russian until immigration. In this study, Russian words which entered in the spoken language of Urums will be searched based on compilations done in this region.
