“ XVI. Yüzyılda Antakya Kazası’nın Demografik Yapısı”, adlı çalışmada, 1526–1550 seneleri arasında Antakya Kazası’nın nüfus ve iskân durumu Tapu Tahrir defterleri esas alınarak ortaya konuldu. Antakya Kaza’nın nüfusu, söz konusu dönemdeki sosyal özellikler göz önünde bulundurularak incelendi. Araştırmada elde edilen demografik veriler tablo ve grafiklerden faydalanılarak değerlendirildi.
In the study, titled “The Demographic Structure of Antıoch Town in XVI. Century” the population and settlement of Antakya town between 1526 and 1550 were presented based on the Land Office [Tapu Tahrir] records. The population of Antakya town was investigated by taking into account the social characteristics of that time. The demographic data, gathered in this study, were analyzed through the use of tables and graphs.
