Kıbrıs Türk halkı arasından derlenmiş çeşitli sözlü anlatmalar içerisinde halk hikâyeleri önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Bu halk hikâyelerinden bir tanesi de Tahir ile Zühre hikâyesidir. Biz çalışmamıza, ilk olarak halk hikâyesinin belli başlı tanımlarına yer vermeye çalıştık. Daha sonra da Tahir ile Zühre hikâyesinin Kıbrıs Türk varyantının epizot yapısını değerlendirmeye çalıştık. En son olarak da bu hikâyedeki motifleri değerlendirerek çalışmamızı tamamladık.
Folk stories have a major importance among the various oral narratives that are collected from the Turkish Cypriot people. “Tahir ile Zühre” is one of those folk stories. In this article, first of all, we tried to define the fundamentals of the “folk stories”. After that, we tried to interpret the episode structure of “Tahir ile Zühre (Cyprus Turkish Variant)”. Finally, we completed our study by interpreting the motif examination of “Tahir ile Zühre”.
