Bu yazı, okuma alışkanlığı ve edebiyat öğretimi bağlamında yapılması gerekenlerin neler olduğu, çağdaş metotlardan nasıl yararlanılması gerektiği, anlamlı bir okuma ve eğitim faaliyeti gerçekleştirebilmek için günümüzde hangi yöntemin uygulanmasının kaçınılmaz olduğu bahislerini irdelemekte ve bir teklif getirmektedir. Buna göre, ilgili kavramların (okuma, alışkanlık, öğretim vb.) halk, seçkinler ve milli eğitim nazarında nasıl algılandığı, neleri bir araya getirme arzusu ve iddiasında olduğu ve kapsamları üzerinde durulacak; kavramlar yeniden okumaya tabi tutulacaktır. Son söz, sağlam bir okuma için uygulanması gereken yöntem üzerine olacaktır.
The main objective of this paper is to enable us to have a new perspective on issues with regard to what we really need to do for ‘reading habit and literature teaching’,how we can make use of modern methods and which method should be applied in order to provide meaningful reading and education and it also wants to recommend ways for this approach.In this respect,we will focus on the aspects of society ,authorities , national education ,contents of this approach and such concepts as reading,habit,teaching so on.. Finally,we will take into account the method for a high quality reading.
