Şemseddin-i Sivasî 16. yüzyıl şair ve yazarlarındandır. Manzum ve mensur pek çok eser kaleme almış olan Sivasî’nin eserlerinden birisi de Menâsikü’l-Huccâc veya Umdetü’l-Huccâc’dır. Bu eserin adı, kaynaklarda Menâsikü’l- Hacc veya Menâsik-i Hacc olarak geçmektedir. Eser, adından da anlaşılacağı üzere, hac görevini yerine getirmek isteyenlere haccın gereklerini anlatmaktadır. Sivasî ve eserlerinden bahseden çoğu kaynakta eserin “kayıp” olduğu bildirilmiştir. Bu çalışmayla eser, ilim âlemine tanıtılmaya çalışılacaktır.
Şemseddin Sivasî is of the 16th century poets and writers. One of the works of Sivasi –who has written many poems and prose- is Menâsikü’l-Huccâc or Umdetü’l-Huccâc. The name of this work is mentioned as Menâsikü’l- Hacc or Menâsik-i Hacc in resources. The work –as can be understood from its name- is explainning the requirements of hajj to those who want to practice the hajj. In many resources mentioning Sivasi and his works, it is declared that the work has been “lost”. With this study, it will be tried to introduce the work.
