Klâsik şairlerimiz, sanıldığı gibi, salt bir güzelin hayaliyle kendi ruh iklimlerinin fildişi kulelerinde topluma kapalı bir hayat sürmemişler, hayatları pahasına da olsa en küçük bir kusuru dahi haykırmaktan çekinmemişlerdir. Topluluk içinde yaşamanın sonucu olarak toplumsal normlara aykırı davranışlar sergileyenlerin eleştirilmeleri doğal bir süreçtir. Bu süreç yalnız fert eksenli olmaz. Dejenere olan değerler, insânî ilişkiler, duyarsızlıklar, “ben” merkezli yaşamlar, yabancılaştırmalar, ötekileştirmeler; devlet ve devlet ricalinin bozulması… gibi konular, eleştirilerin dışında tutulmazlar.
