Kırım Harbi 1853 yılında Osmanlı devleti ile Rusya arasında başlamıştır. Sebep: Osmanlı devletinin Rusların kutsal yerler ve Hıristiyanların himâyesi konusundaki taleplerini kabul etmemesidir. Ruslar bir süre sonra, Si¬nop’ta ani bir baskınla Osmanlı donanmasını büyük öl¬çüde tahrip etmiştir. İstanbul savunmasız kalınca çıkar¬ları gereği bu şehrin Rusların eline geçmesini istemeyen İngiltere ve Fransa, Osmanlı devletinin yanında harbe dâhil olmuşlardır. Müttefik güçler ile Rusya arasındaki savaş 1856’ya kadar sürmüş; nihayet Ruslar yenilmiştir. Bu savaş sırasında İstanbul’a gelen yabancı askerler, bu¬radaki sosyal ve kültürel hayatı etkilemişlerdir. Böylece ilk defa batılılara özenen alafranga insan tipi ortaya çık-mıştır. Bunun yanında Kırım Harbi hem devrin edebiya¬tında akis bulmuş hem de sonraki yıllarda yazılan eser¬lere konu olmuştur. O sebeple Tanzimat sonrası Türk edebiyatına kaynaklık eden olaylardan biri Kırım Harbi’dir. Makalemizde Kırım Harbi’nin Türk edebiyatın¬daki akisleri ele alınmıştır.
Crimean War began in 1853 between the Ottoman Empire and Russia. Casus beli was the fact that the Ottoman Empire did not accept the demands of Russia in terms of holy places and protection of Christians. After a while Russians destroyed Ottoman fleet largely with a sudden raid in Sinop. When Constantinople became defenseless, England and French that did not this city to be invaded by Russia due to their own interests allied with the Ottoman Empire in this war. The war between the allied powers and Russia continued till 1856, in the end, Russian were defeated. The foreign soldiers coming to Constantinople during the war affected social and cultural life of the city. Therefore, for the first time a European person type came out. Besides, Crimean War found reflection in the literature of that age and became a theme for the novels to be written in later days. Because of all this, one of the events source of Turkish Literature after Tanzimat Period is Crimean War. In our article, the reflections of the war were analyzed.
