Çalışmada, modern tiyatro eserlerinin halk anlatı¬larındaki temayı ve biçimi nasıl dönüştürdüğünün irde¬lenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Halk anlatılarının günümüze nasıl modernize edilerek sunulduğunun, geleneksel içeri¬ğin ne ölçüde değiştirildiğinin görülmesi açısından oyun¬lar ele alınırken, sözlü gelenekten yazıya geçmiş metinler ile “metinlerarası” bağlamda ilişkilendirme yoluna gidil-miştir. Halk anlatı ürünlerinden yola çıkılarak ortaya ko¬nan uyarlamaların çözümlenmesinde temel alınan veriler, birbirinden farklı bakış açılarıyla işlenen tiyatro oyunla¬rıdır. Uyarlamalarda; metinsel yapılanışın, dilsel biçimle¬nişin ve retorik yapının nasıl olduğu, gelenekteki biçi¬minden estetik ve yaratıcılık yönleri açısından ayrılma noktaları, anlam kaymalarının / sapmaların olup olma¬dığı, tiyatro tekniğinin gelenekteki anlatıların yapısına et¬kisi vb. amaçlara yönelik irdelenen konulardır. Cumhuri¬yet sonrası Türk tiyatrosunda halk anlatı geleneğinden yararlanma sorunsalına ışık tutan bu çalışma; kültürel değerlerin günümüze nasıl modernize edilerek uyarlandı¬ğının, yazarın asıl metinden uzaklaştığı noktaların, anla¬tının çağın gereklerine ve onu işleyen yazarın dilsel gü¬cüne bağlı olarak nasıl geliştiğinin görülmesi açısından, benzer çalışmalar için bir örnek oluşturacaktır.
In study, it was aimed to examine how a modern play transforms the theme and the form in the public narrations. While the public narrations were being examined, they were associated with a text passed into a written form from the aural tradition in terms of “intertextual” context in order to reveal how the story was pre¬sented by modernizing it and how the content of it was changed. The main data for analyzing the adaptations based on the public narrations were different plays developed from different point of views. Textual and linguistic formations, rhetoric of the texts, the differences of the texts from the form in tradition in terms of aesthetic and creative respects, the existence of the meaning loses and deviations, the effect of the theatre techniques on the form of the story etc. were the topics examined in the scope of this study. This study which was carried out to reveal the problem which is the profiting by tradition of public narration in Turkish theaters in the period of The Republic how cultural values were adopted to present era by modernizing them, the points where the writer di¬verged from the original text and how the narration de¬veloped according to the necessities of the era and ac¬cording to the linguistic power of the writer is believed to be an example for the similar studies.
