Bu yazıda; Cumhuriyet dönemi Türk edebiyatı içe¬risinde önemli bir yere sahip ‘Garip’ şiir hareketine dö¬nemin mizah dergilerinde karikatüristlerin gösterdiği tep¬kilere yer verilerek bu tepkilerin nedenleri ve etkileri üze¬rinde durulmaktadır. Bu vesile ile Yeni Türk Edebiyatı’nın kaynakları arasında karikatürün değerlendirilmesi tartışmalarına bir katkı sağlamak da amaçlanmaktadır.
In this article we try to explain what kind of reactions the caricaturists show to “The Stranger (Garip) movement” which has an important place in Modern Turkish Literature in their humour magazines at that time. This article also try to analyse the reasons of these reactions. By doing this, we aim to discuss whether caricatures are used as a source for history of Turkish literature or not.
