Türk tarihin ana kaynaklarından olan ve Anadolu’daki ilk Türkçe yazmalardan sayılabilecek OàuznÀme; Türklerin tarih sahnesine çıkışından Osmanlılara kadar olan dönemi kapsayan bir genel Türk tarihi niteliği taşımaktadır. Eserin ilk bölümünde Türklerin tarih sahnesine çıkışları, Oğuz boyları, boy adlarının anlamları, boy tamgaları ve geleneklerinin anlatıldığı OàuznÀme adlı bir bölüm bulunmaktadır. Makalemizde; bu yazma eserin tanıtımından sonra, OàuznÀme bölümünün transkripsiyonu ve Berlin, Paris ve Topkapı Sarayı Kütüphanesi nr.1390 nüshalarının bir karşılılaştırması sunulacaktır.
