Doğurganlığın simgesi elma ve incir, şifa kaynağı olan armut, ağacın meyve vermesini sağlayan ve kısırlığa çare olan, erkek çocuk sahibi olmayı sağlayan inanışlar ve diğerleri çalışmada ele alınmıştır.
This is a study of fruit as it features in passage rites, folk medicine, spell, charm, evil eye, good and bad luck, dream interpretation and beliefs relating to evil spirits. Also it’s place in creation myths, epics and folktales was given. Fruit trees and fruits are important for all period’s of human life. In addition apple and fig as a symbol of fertility, curative pear and also the beliefs that provide to have male child, providing fruit for tree and cure for infertility were mentioned.
