End of the Bolshevik revolution in 1917, Ottoman State purpose of benefitting from Russian withdrawal, regained control of Evliye-i Selase region which was lost during the 1877-1878 Ottoman – Russian war. However, England in an unlawful and unfair way wanted the region be evacuated and handed over to England as a result of Mondros Truce. Handing over the region again to Armenians and Georgians after the annexation of 40 years separation, caused a great pain and fear on the region folk. At the same time, it was necessitated to transport soldiers, weapons, equipment, and cereals in Batum, Kars, and Ardahan provinces within Ottoman State borders. Use of weapons and equipments in the early days of Independence War, became possible due to the transportation made from the above regions with great impossibilities and under heavy pressure of England. At the same time, to protect themselves against Armenians, public in the evacuation regions oriented to cooperate with the national organizations.
