Âteşkede, ateş ve ateşle ilgili kavramlar üzerine kurulmuş bir mesnevidir. Avnî Bey, kâinatın yaratılışını, vücut ve varlık problemlerini, dört unsurdan biri olan ateşle izah etmeye çalışır. Ateşe olumlu ve olumsuz pek çok anlam yükleyen şair, bu kelimeyi daha çok aşk ve tecelli anlamlarında kullanır. 249 beyitten ve dokuz kısa fasıldan meydana gelen Âteşkede’yi Avnî Bey, Şeyh Galib’in Hüsn ü Aşk’ına benzer bir tarzda yazmaya başlamış fakat tamamlayamamıştır. Eser, Avnî Beyin şairlik hakkındaki bazı düşüncelerini ihtiva etmesi ve Şem ü Pervane’lerden motifler taşıması bakımından da değerlidir. Bu çalışma Âteşkede’nin incelemesini ve tenkitli metnini ihtiva etmektedir.
Âteşkede is a masnavi built on heat and concepts related to the heat. Avnî Bey has tried to explain the creation of the universe, the problems related to the existence with the heat which is one of the four elements. The author who ascribed many positive and negative meanings to the heat has used this word in the meaning of love and manifestation in general. Ateşkede made up of 249 couplets and 9 short chapters. He has written in the style of the Şeyh Galip’s Hüsn ü Aşk. However, he had not completed. Work is important in both the author’s some opinion upon the poetic and also carrying the trace of Şem ü Pervane. This study contains the analysis and edition critics of Ateşkede.
