Öğüt verme, okuyucuyu bilinçlendirme amacını taşıyan ve birçok Divan edebiyatı şâirinde örneğine rastlanılan Nasihat-nâme (Pend-nâme), Divan edebiyatının en önemli nazım türlerinden biridir. Bu türde şiir yazan Divan edebiyatı şairleri, fikirleriyle kendi dönemlerinin insanlarını aydınlatmayı ve bilgilendirmeyi amaçlamışlardır. Divan edebiyatına ait bu öğütlerin, akademisyenlerimiz tarafından iyi incelenip sadeleştirilmesi durumunda günümüz insanın yaşamına da ışık tutabileceği kanaatindeyiz. Bu çalışmada, 17. yy’ın sonları ile 18. yy’ın ilk yarısında yaşamış olan şairlerimizden Safî Mustafa Efendi’nin Gülşen-i Pend adlı mesnevisinde imam, müezzin, hatip ve vaizlere sunduğu edebi nasihatleri değerlendirilecektir. Böylelikle Safî Mustafa Efendi’nin kendi dönemindeki din görevlilerinde aradığı özellikleri hangi edebi ifadelerle aktardığı hakkında bir fikir elde edilecek ve bu öğütlerin günümüz şartlarına da ne kadar uyduğu anlaşılmaya çalışılacaktır.
Suggestions that meant to make reader more conscious about an issue in which we see samples on many Divan Poets of Nasihat-nâme (Pend-nâme), is one of the most important verse species of Classical Turkish Literature. Poets that wrote poems on this subject intended to clarify and inform people of their era. If these suggestions are investigated and simplified by our valuable academicians, they will show ways to the present-day people. In our work, we are going to represent Safi Mustafa Efendi's (lived at the end of 17th Century and middle of 18th Century) Gülşen-i Pend Mesnevi which contains literature suggestions to the imam, muezzin, preachers and orators. Therefore we will be able to have ideas about the Mustafa Efendi's era, characteristics that he look on religion servants and quotes that he used to makes use of for expression. We will also be able to see how they can fit in present-day conditions.
