Kefeli Hüseyin, 985/1577 yılında tefe'ül konusundaki hikâyeleri bir araya getirerek oluşturduğu eserine Sevânihü’t-tefe'ül adını verir. Eserini Kefe'de yazarak II. Gazi Giray'a ithaf eder. Müellif, Sevânihü’t-tefe'ül’den sonra fal hikâyeleri toplamaya devam eder. Bazı hikâyeleri çıkarıp bazılarını ilâve ederek Râznâme adlı eserini oluşturur. Sevânihü’t-tefe'ül’ün biri Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi Reisü’l-küttâb bölümünde; diğeri İzmir Millî Kütüphanesi’nde olmak üzere iki nüshası vardır. Her iki nüshada da 139 hikâye bulunmaktadır. Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi’ndeki nüshanın müellif hattı olduğu ileri sürülmüştür. Bu tebliğ çerçevesinde Räz-näme’nin sağlıklı bir tenkitli metin neşrinin yapılabilmesi için nüsha ailesini kurmada izlenen metot ele alınmıştır.
Kefeli Hüseyin names his book Sevânihü’t-tefe'ül which is a collection of fortune-telling stories. He writes his book in Kefe and dedicates it to II. Gazi Giray. The author goes on collecting fortune-telling stories after Sevânihü’t-tefe'ül. He constitutes his book, Razname, by omutting some of the stories and adding some new one. Sevânihü’t-tefe'ül has two copies, one is in Süleymaniye Library and the other is in İzmir National Library. It is claimed that the one in Süleymaniye Library is author’s original manuscript. In this paper it is explained how to get a healty critical text of Razname.
