Bu sebeple makalemizde sesleri süreleri bakımından inceleyen araştırmaları değerlendirerek Türkiye Türkçesinin sesleri bakımından sonuçlar çıkarmaya çalıştık. Süre, seslerin ne kadar sürede çıktığını gösterme şeklinde belirlenir. Süre, sesin özelliklerinden biridir. Süre, söylenen sese göredir. Süre bilgisi, sesten sese değişir. Hece, kelime, öbek, öge ve cümle düzeyleri, sesin tek başına sahip olduğu süre özelliğini yeniden düzenler. Sesin bulunduğu kelimenin hece sayısı, sesin kelimedeki yeri, konuşma hızı, konuşmacının içinde bulunduğu psikolojik durum, süreyi belirleyen ortamlardır. Türkçede sesler, süreleri bakımından, uzun, normal ve normalden daha kısa olarak üçe ayrılır.

The number of syllable of word, which contain phone, the place or location of phone in word, the speed of speaking, psychological condition of the person who speak, determine duration. The phone in Turkish are classified 3 parts as long, normal and short in terms of their duration.
