The Idea Of World Domination In Ancient Civilizations


From the most ancient to the present day in many States, have exceeded their limits in pursuit of world domination when it becomes a powerful economic and political aspects. In ancient civilizations, notably including Akkadian and Assyrian, Persian Empire, Alexander the great's Empire and the Roman Empire have taken place within the state adopting the idea of world domination. The first practices of World domination can be seen in the East. Akkad Kings declared that they are the lord of the known world by having titles as “The Great Emperor” and King of the Universe. Afterwards, Assyrian Kings also proceeded with this aim and managed to found one of the first great empires of the Ancient Ages which includes whole Ancient Near East. Alexander the Great was the first leader from the Ancient West who appears with the ideal of being the Master of the World. Previously, Alexander thinking to save the Greek cities of Western Anatolia, who were recovering from Persians, then has managed to establish a universal empire continuing his invasions for the purpose of conquering whole world. Foundations of thoughts, such as, project collection whole worldunder the political unit, world peace and world brotherhood which even today can not be fully grasped were laid by Alexander the Great. These states, which became influential both financially and politically, risked many wars in order to conquer more countries and dominate the whole world, so they went beyond the geography they were in. This idea is available in the States in later historical periods and still. When carrying out these ideas for economic purposes most of the time, and occasionally acted cultural purposes.
