Alevism-Bektashism draws attention as a culturally, sociologically, intellectually and mystically and especially, since the 1990s more common in the community has been on the agenda. In this process Alevism as a discovery paved the way for a new religious identity, in order to consolidate religious identity they put into words their religious claims from the state. One of these demands is the related to Books of “Religion Culture and Knowledge of Ethic”. However, in spite of Alevi-Bektashi groups and leaders united in this demand in the process of scructuralism, it could be argued that they have a different approaches to how should be reflected on RCKE textbooks and the future of RCKE course. On the other hand, it can be seen these demands become more pronounced with the Alevi workshops and taking into account by the Ministry of National Educatin (MNE) and then placed on the books in recent years. In this context, the goal of our research that to determine Alevism-Bektashism as a Turkey’s social, cultural and religious fact that how reflect on RCKE textbooks and also primary and secondary school’s RCKE textbooks evaluated in terms of content related to the Alewism-Bektashism. For determining subject’s level and how to take hold of Alevism-Bektashism in textbooks was used a descriptive approach. The scope of the study consisted of textbooks which published in 2012 by the MNE and distributed to primary and secondary schools in 2012-2013 academic year. As a result, there are subjects or persons on the entire class of scanned textbooks related to Alevism-Bektashism. According to the RCKE textbooks, there are some terms such as “Alevism-Bektashism”, “cem”, “cemevi”, “musahiplik”, “prayer and gülbenks”, “fasting hızır” in the 7th class “Comments on Islamic Thought” unit; and additionally “performing cem”, “semah”, “the month of Muharram and ashura” in the 12th class “Mystical Comments on Islamic Thought” unit and they have been subject to the teaching of religion.
